I have a huge love for ancient treasure and particularly ancient coins. I find them compelling, with their intricate designs and fascinating history.
The design on these earrings harken back to those ancient times. They are fabricated from Precious Metal Clay ( .999 pure silver), which I oxidize in order to bring out the relief in the pattern. The 'coins' are surrounded by a brass bezel and finished off with sterling silver French earwires.
They are approximately the size of a nickel and hang 1 1/2”
Please note that the brass bezel may tarnish over time, if you like the patina, great, if not, just use a polishing cloth to shine them back up!
