Ohh Larimar, such a beautiful stone and only mined in one location, the Dominican Republic. It looks just like a clear, blue ocean and is in short supply. Larimar gets it's name from the daughter of the man who (re)discovered it- ‘Larissa' and the Spanish word for sea - ‘Mar’.
I cut this gorgeous, large, bright Larimar myself. Because I really love the combination of blue and gold, I bezel set this stunning piece entirely in brass that has a swirly, brushed finish. It is attached on both sides with jump rings to a gold-filled chain and closes with a spring ring clasp.
This statement piece looks great alone, but would also look amazing layered up with other necklaces.
