As you might imagine, metalsmithing leaves behind quite a bit of leftover material. I had been collecting it hoping to find something fun to do with it one day. Well, today’s the day!
In a twist from my usual style, I created this funky, graduated, mixed metal necklace from my leftover silver. I melted down the scrap into 3 rings of increasing size that are totally organically shaped. I have attached these 3 rings with gold-filled (very heavy plate) jump rings and hung them on a gold-filled chain.
Truly a one-of-a-kind piece, this necklace will move with you and may twist and turn. Both sides are textured, so there isn’t really a front or back to this necklace.
So unique, so bitchin’.
